Shipping Costs

We use Australia Post for our shipping carrier as our normal delivery method. Standard postage is $10 for all orders under $75. For orders over $75, shipping is free. We do not have a retail outlet, so a pickup option is not available unfortunately.

Please note, shipping costs are not actually ‘free’, we use the word free as in the context of ‘included’ in the price you pay for your smoke alarms. Therefore shipping costs are included in the cost of the photoelectric smoke alarms you buy from ipesmokealarms.com

Returns Policy

Should you decide to return your product if you realize you do not want it, the shipping costs to you and a 10% re-stocking fee will be deducted from the refund we provide. If you want to be sure of any return refund you are entitled to, please contact us prior to returning your product and request details of the shipping costs. You may also request the shipping costs prior to us sending your product and we will be happy to inform you of the costs which are included with your purchase price.

The Smoke Alarms Must be Returned Before Refund Is Given

To qualify to return an item under this Policy, Products must be in their original packaging, along with all included accessories, and must not be damaged in any way by the customer during the time the item is in the customer’s possession. Packaging must not be opened unless the product is faulty. Please see Our Warranty Terms and Conditions in relation to warranty claims.

Unless otherwise stated in a product listing, all products sold at ipesmokealarms.com are able to be returned for change of mind purposes under this policy. Where a product listing specifically states that the product is not able to be returned under this policy (usually due to special order), then no returns for change of mind will be permitted. All returns are subject to the ipesmokealarms.com Returns Policy Terms & Conditions and you must pay the return shipping costs.

If for any reason You are unsatisfied with Your purchase, You can contact us within 60 days of taking delivery, and organise to return the product and receive either a store credit or refund of the purchase price of Your Product (excluding initial delivery charges). The re-stocking fee for these Products will be 10% of the original purchase price. Where a product listing specifically excludes returns under this policy, no returns under this policy will be permitted.

Faulty Products / Warranty Claims

Warranty on products is determined by the manufacturer. Any failure attributed to damage or lack of maintenance of the products will be easily detected by our engineers and in most cases rejected.

Contact us directly by phone to discuss your claim. After you have received authorisation to return the Product,
Post back the product, Client to play for the return freight costs,
We will return the product to the manufacture and either refund or replace the item as per your instructions.

Canceled orders

Canceled orders paid online by credit card or Paypal will have a 10% administrative processing fee deducted from the purchase amount prior to refund.
